On March 2nd and 3rd, Team 293 SPIKE participated in a thrilling robotics competition at Hatboro-Horsham High School in Horsham, Pennsylvania. SPIKE had an amazing turnout in terms of participating members. The team had around 30-40 people in the stands on both days cheering for the robot! Though all of the support was given to our engineers and robot, SPIKE did not perform as well as we would have liked. The robot had bugs and issues that were unbeknownst to the team until the official competition, putting SPIKE in 35th place. However, even though we suffered some losses, our team never failed to stand up and cheer enthusiastically while we were competing. We are very proud of the team spirit that was shown! We may not have had an excellent robot, but we sure had an excellent business plan. For the first time in SPIKE history, our team won the Entrepreneurship Award! Stay tuned, because Team SPIKE is ready to kick butt in the next competition!
